Ironwood Pharmaceuticals offers Fellowships, Internship and Co-op programs throughout the year to educate and inspire the next generation of GI innovators.

If you want to work in a collaborative, exciting and energetic environment where you can use your creativity and passion to help make a difference for patients, check out our college and post-graduate programs. These programs blend real-world experience with guidance and mentorship from pharmaceutical industry experts. You will engage in meaningful and substantive work, gain industry insights through hands-on experience, and learn how you might apply these skills to a future career.

Ironwood Pharmaceuticals PharmD Industry Fellowship

Ironwood Pharmaceuticals’ fellowship programs are designed to offer Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduates in-depth experience within a biopharmaceutical setting through one of two unique experiences: A Medical Scientific Affairs and Clinical Development (MSA/CD) fellowship or a Global Patient Safety and Regulatory Affairs (GPS/RA) fellowship. Our fellowships are designed to foster individual learning and growth, both professionally and personally, and offer the opportunity to be involved in high-visibility, high-impact projects. By the end of the two-year fellowship, our fellows develop highly marketable skills and experience to pursue a successful career within the pharmaceutical industry. Both the MSA/CD and GPS/RA fellowships will be based out of Ironwood Pharmaceuticals’ headquarters in Boston.
