Ron Silver assumed the role of interim Chief Financial Officer in May 2026. In this role, Ron brings broad financial leadership experience to guide the company’s financial strategy and support strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and external stakeholder engagement.
Ron joined the company in 2018 and has served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since January 2025. In this position, Ron leads Ironwood’s global finance function, overseeing financial planning and analysis, accounting, external reporting, tax, treasury, and shared services, and also leads the company’s information technology, procurement, and risk management functions.
Before joining the company, Ron held progressive leadership roles in technical accounting, external reporting, and controllership functions at Eze Software Group and in the audit, assurance, and consulting practices of RSM.
Ron is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
